Muck boot update

independent review of Muck boot chore boot

It's been two months since I first started test driving these new Muck boots and I'm happy to report they are by far the best work boot I've ever owned!

Last year I started wearing wool socks to keep my feet from getting too cold, but the Muck boots seem to provide a bit more thermal protection to the point where the wool socks have not been needed.

We love our Muck Boots here in SE Arkansas. Only issue is they don't have a summer boot , need a version that is protective with a comfortable sole that is not so warm. We have to give ours a rest as soon as it reaches the 75 degree mark.

I've had my eye on some Mucks for a while but kind of choked on the price. I count this as one more review in their favor though, from someone who's really giving them ****!

I'm trying to decide which height Mucks to go with. Are yours mid or high? Do your pants stay tucked in most of the time?

Shelley --- I guess we'll have to cross the summer bridge when we come to it. I'm not sure it'll be much of an issue for us --- there's not nearly so much mud in the summer....

Jessie: Improved --- I know what you mean about the price tag. I figured my boots need to last me 2.5 years to be cost competitive with cheap boots. I'm withholding judgement until that happens....

Dave --- I think Mark's are mid height --- they're a bit shorter than mine. His pants seem to stay tucked in just fine.
