Mowing backlog
Sometimes I use the string trimmer to mow the space between garden beds when the weed/grass mixture gets too tall for push mowing.

I have a 22 inch, 6 HP 15-year-old Yard Machines push mower that cuts through grass and weeds at least a foot high like a hot knife through butter. Unfortunately the deck has rusted through but I'm working on that.
I don't know what kind of mower you've got but perhaps looking for one that has at least 6 HP might do the trick.
