Lawn trailer 5 gallon bucket hauler

ATV lawn trailer bucket hauler

The ATV bucket hauler is near completion.

Adding the plywood extension will increase the capacity from 6 buckets to 12.

I guess I should paint the wood red to match the tongue, but will most likely go with whatever exterior paint I can find in the barn.

If you haven't already done so, you might want to add some drain holes in the corners of the bottom to keep rainwater from pooling in the bin.

Take the sides off before painting and paint the surfaces that will be in contact when assembled first. Also, wood tends to rot fastest where the end grain is exposed. Adding an extra layer of paint there won't hurt.

Did you have a change to check the clearance of the trailer with the ATV in tight corners?
