Harbor Freight phone tree secret

Haul Master trailer cartThanks for all the comments on my Harbor Freight tech support frustration I posted about last week.

I tried calling today but this time I used Edith's suggestion of hitting zero a few times and it worked! I talked to a real person  who was nice and took less than 5 minutes to figure out the problem and start the process to ship out the missing hardware. Not sure why that option was not listed in the menu choices at the start of the call but I'm more than pleased to get this resolved.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to discourage people......

I am sooooo happy it worked for you Mark. I know the frustration. I can not tolerate talking to an inanimate object......especially the talking lady computer. I figured this little trick out myself.

Chris is right. They do not want people talking to real people. Everything is being automated through computers.

Sad....but true.

I actually do the exact same thing for my bank and several other automated systems. It works like a charm to get assistance quickly. I usually give my information enough and then hit the oddball buttons, so it goes to the correct department.
