It was 28 degrees here too. What are those funny-shaped green fruits--pawpaws?

Jennifer --- Those are figs. Not very many again this year due to extreme winter cold, but at least we got a couple of handfuls!

28 degrees? Shoot, growing up in Minnesota we didn't even call it cold until it was negative 28!

Same here. And first half hearted snowfall, though the wind that drove it was quite determined... the cellar is finally down close to 40, fine for storage now...
