Cold feet

trying to repair swamp bridge and getting cold feet

We tried getting the swamp bridge back in place today.

It was going good until I stepped in a spot that dunked me past the hip waders.

Brrrrr....I wimped out and went back for dry socks. Maybe we'll try tomorrow.

I can sympathiz- had a similar thing happen during one of our winter runs... I fell through ice about thigh deep, but got wet nearly waist deep trying to get out... Brrrrrrr is right! It was about 28 degrees out and we were miles from the truck... Only thing to do was keep moving!

Gerry --- I was wondering if anyone would notice that. :-) Bradley's brother's ex-wife's cousin was over helping us out Monday and we talked him into being the camera guy.

Just a thought. On a piece of property I used to have we had three creeks to cross. We took some old semi flatbed trailers that were 40+ feet long and made them into bridges. They were plenty stout and reasonably cheap. Hope this info helps.
