ATV trailer cart update

report on missing hardware with no easy help from seller

The Haul-Master trailer cart showed up with a problem.

It's missing all the hardware except a bag of small bolts.

Calling the Harbor Freight tech support line was a joke. No real person to talk to and a frustrating phone tree that just directs folks to the website. The only way to communicate a problem seems to be through email. They claim response time should be between 24 and 48 hours, but I'm going on the third day with no help.

Call again. When you get the phone tree press zero, keep pressing zero to interrupt the computer causing it to transfer you to a real human...:o)

If it is one of those "talking" computers that asks you questions your answer should only be "representative please" until you confuse the poor creature and it transfers you to a human.

When you finally get a human politely force action to be taken. Hope this helps. Works for me all the time...:o)

How about packing it back in the box, sending it back to where you ordered it, even if you have to pay the postage. Put in a big sign saying "You put it together with the missing parts." Also tell them their service is lousy and no help. I would probably ask for my money back plus what I paid for the postage and tell them you will take your business elsewhere!

We bought what I think is almost exactly the same cart from a different vendor two weeks ago. Our cart was the AgriFab brand from Illinois. One part was missing from our box (and our home is an hour each way from the store.) A two minute phone call to a really nice guy at AgriFab and the missing piece was 2 day shipped to us. We were so impressed that last week we bought an AgriFab sweeper which has us super happy right out of the box. I have no relationship to those guys other than being one heck of a satisfied customer. If this cart gives you hassles, or you are looking for other small implements, give 'em a look.
