Keeping the thing on a trickle charger whenever the buggy's not in use will greatly prolong battery life. You can get one for about 5 bucks at Harbor Freight. I used to replace lawn tractor battery every year or two, only charging them over the winter. Now keeping it on charger at all times, this one is still strong after 3 winters sitting outside.
