OUR LIFE: My wife Mary and I have been married for 30yrs. I have been retired for 4yrs. after working as an industrial electrician, while Mary still works in an office for a steel manufacturing plant. Our modest, but energy efficient house is set in the middle of 7 wooded acres of land with a small stream flowing through the north side of the property. We have 4 dogs and lots of cats for which all of them are rescue animals. We are both very much involved in the ethical treatment of animals, wind, solar, recycling, gardening, composting, and just reducing our carbon footprint in general. I have been to quite a few blogs on the internet over the years, some of them are almost never updated, and some of them close down and come back only to close down again. Mark and Anna not only talk the talk but they also walk the walk. Yep, I know it sounds corny but never the less my hat is off to the two of you. The things you two do on limited funds never cease to amaze me. Keep up the good work. I would love to upload a pic.but it says my file is too big.
