Yanna
Hi Folks,
I'm converting my home in Northeastern Illinois into a permacultural food oasis/urban microfarm. My lot is 60' x 90' so space is clearly at a premium. I keep chickens and rabbits, grow fruit, berries, mushrooms, medicinal and culinary herbs and vegetables. Beekeeping is on the horizon.
You're welcome to read more about it here: http://5400squarefeet.blogspot.com
I have a fairly long resource list there geared toward those who live in the Midwest as well as some other goodies in the sidebar that may be of interest.
Best wishes on the journey!
