We have a half-acre Homestead in central Pennsylvania - we love reading your blog. Our homestead is known as Dharma Dogs Farm and we are fixing up a 110 year old, much abused farmhouse. We have so far, installed geothermal heating and cooling, solar hot water, and 5k solar electric. We grow a lot of our own food, and we live with three German Shepherds, who the farm is named after (well, not them particularly, but their predeessor, Storm).
