The return of light
As the light begins
shining back into the darkened world, I'm so grateful for beauty, love,
and resilience. Thank you all for your kind words on last week's post,
and thank you to the caring people who sent me photos, reminiscences,
and a stained-glass coloring book to raise my spirits.
No matter when or how
you celebrate, I hope this weekend is full of fun, food, and friends.

Thank you for your blog! I have learned so much from it; my garden and fruit trees are in better shape since I have been following it and I love the attention you give your pets and livestock. (Lucy and company are very lucky.) I enjoy the cross referencing to other homestead and no-till sites and have enjoyed seeing pictures of earlier years. Happy Holidays to you! Ellen in Oregon
