Target shooting

Anna with Highpoint 40 caliber carbine rifle

When Anna and I target practice with the Highpoint rifle we usually take turns shooting 4 shots each and then check the results.

There's room for improvement, but we're getting better.

How many yards was that target grouping?

I was afraid someone would ask that question. It's across the mule garden the short way, but I couldn't guess the distance. We'll have to wait for Mark to chime in.

(By the way, he was being polite. His shots were spot on.)

Could you hazard a guess as far as number of paces?
Comment by Shannon Thu Jul 15 15:40:43 2010
Mark says he thinks it's about 40 yards. (I kept meaning to go out and pace it, but my memory is so bad that I went out the door to pace...and came back in with swiss chard for our supper. Then went out the door and came back in with carrots for our supper. I'm a bit afraid to go out again... :-) )
