fixing rust spots on a metal barn roof

The barn roof repair project got wrapped up yesterday!

barn roof before pictureWe couldn't be happier...giddy is a more accurate description of the feeling I get when I walk by and look up at a fully intact roof.

It went so well we decided to hire the same guy to install a gutter on one side. The other side drains downhill towards the creek.

Cameron --- I know! I think this will triple our usable space under roof on the farm (not even counting the possibility of adding lofts into such a tall barn.

Unfortunately, we first need to find a week to clean and organize the jumble of stuff that used to sit in the few dry spots and that now makes it impossible to walk down the central aisle. :-)
