Name that seedling quiz, part 3

Okra seedling

Cucumber seedling

Sunflower seedling

These were seriously hard --- I had to look up one of them to make sure I had it right.  From top to bottom, the seedlings are okra (notice the hairs around the edges), cucumber (but if you guessed a squash or any other relative, you were close enough), and sunflower.  If you named them all, you're an expert!

I love these seedling quizzes! As part of our "recession-proof income diversification" (to quote yourself in your Ecotourism post!) we cranked our garden up tenfold and rented a stand at our local Farmer's Market. Now, I've always been more into our animals, though I totally appreciate what our garden offers us and I willingly harvest and put away. But this year I am working much more with the planting aspect of things than I usually do. I will be SO embarrassed if I can't name the seedlings by sight at our first plant sale! I need more quizzes like this! : ) I was proud to get sunflower right since we have about ten billion of them sitting about 15 feet away from me at this very moment. Thanks for such a cool site!

I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying them! I was hoping they weren't too silly for you all. :-) I hope to hear more about your farmer's market endeavor too -- it sounds like a great project!
